“They say only mad dogs and English men go out in the midday sun!
On a hot afternoon in June, 15 brave souls full of energy and enthusiasm set off from the Sovereign Insurance Services office in Ocean Village to take part in the “Walkers for Knockers” charity walk to raise money for The Breast Cancer Support Group Gibraltar.
We walked all the way around our beautiful Rock, some faster than others! Walking down Main Street at the end of the walk was an amazing feeling, of joy that the walk was over but also of achievement.
I want to give a big shout out to everyone who donated to take part in the walk, others who made donations, and to the following companies who were very generous sponsors:

This is a cause close to my heart, having been diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2020. When you get a diagnosis of cancer (any type) everything changes, getting support is vital and The Breast Cancer Support Group was always there for me. The founder and Chairperson, Mercy Posso, works tirelessly to raise funds, along with committee members such as Marta Pizzarello and other members of the group and it is great to be able to give something back.
We raised £1,045 on that hot June afternoon so the blisters and aching muscles were all worth it.”
